Our toolbelt includes Market Research, Communications Strategy, Brand Development, Product Positioning, Analytics, Reporting and A/B Testing. We design beautiful digital experiences through UX/UI, Brand Identity, Graphic and Product Design. We create powerful content via Copywriting, e-Books and Articles, Brand Style Guides, Social Content & Campaigns, 2D & 3D Video Animation.
Our stellar team operate remotely from 9 different countries, but come together in digital space to go above and beyond in the service of our clients’ every need. We believe that the right way - scratch that - the only way to do business is with a human-centered approach.
We are looking for a Business Development Associate who shares that philosophy, someone with a passion for client success who will boldly seek out new partnerships and usher those client collaborators through a stellar onboarding experience.
This is a freelance position, with a monthly retainer, plus commission, and the possibility to grow into full-time employee. The role’s potential depends entirely on you!
Who You Are
Sales or business development experience isn’t necessary, or even necessarily an asset - if you are an intuitive and authentic networker, with a passion for start ups and their unique needs, a desire to learn about the digital design space, someone with an innate sense of customer service, who delights it making connections that manifest shared success---you might be our person.
While this is a sales-type role, jamming hundreds of square pegs into a Flying Saucer is not the goal. You must be an astute listener, with a mind for strategy, who can read between the client’s lines and see potential --- or recognize when to redirect them to a more appropriate resource.
We nurture relationships and are building a community, not an assembly line, so your long game must be on point.
What We’re Asking
1 to 2 retainers per month
(and/or) 3 to 4 fixed-term contracts per month
*Incentive for signed contracts will be provided
30 initial meetings per month
5-10 escalation meetings per month
2 initial meetings per day
25 cold calls per week
2-3 proposals requested per week
Email monitoring daily
Update Hubspot with relevant sales information daily
Reporting on email volume of mass mailing campaigns currently in use
This role reports to our Client Success Specialist, and communicates regularly with our CEO and global creative team.
Strong command of the English language a must, bonus points if you speak Spanish, French, or both.
Customer and team contact will be primarily by email, online video conferencing and telephone, so proficiency with digital communication tools is essential.
